For more than 50 years, the Skilled Nursing Program at Broadlawn Manor has been dedicated to providing long-term care for residents with dignity, compassion and respect. The 320-bed facility, located on the Nassau/Suffolk border on Long Island, New York, offers comfortable private and semi-private accommodations, a pleasant dining experience, friendly common areas and beautifully landscaped grounds.
The individualized care for each resident is overseen by an experienced interdisciplinary team of medical professionals that encompasses physicians board-certified in geriatric medicine, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants and social workers. Working together, they provide progressive and innovative 24-hour care, with the goal of enhancing the quality of life for each resident.
The specially trained staff assists residents with activities of daily living to improve their quality of life. And Broadlawn Manor is the first facility on Long Island to implement CareTracker, a computerized documentation system that enhances resident treatment through enhanced accuracy and accountability.
Residents of Broadlawn Manor enjoy the distinctive Therapeutic Recreation Program, which is designed to build self-confidence and enrich lives through social interaction, mental stimulation, creativity, expression, satisfaction and fun. Activities for each individual are based on their unique interests, cognition and physical abilities, and are managed by licensed therapists and recreation professionals.
